Cattle handled well throughout assessment. There was the odd heifer that became slightly agitated when pushed up the race for weighing. Overall for cattle that have been running in a large pastoral paddock their temperament is very good.

Buyers presented is a line of 41 NSM future Breeder Angus heifers that were weighed between 298-381kgs LW at assessment. Whilst there are 2 marks in this line, they are predominantly Merdeduke Angus bloodlines purchased ex Tumut area. Heifers are at optimal weights to be joined to the bull of choice. They are cleaning up in the coat and responding well to the quality feed and spring conditions. Heifers present relatively even and alternatively to breeding these cattle are on the do and if continued on good feed would shape up nicely to meet kill markets.
