Assessor Comments
This is a very nice line of breeder EU Black Baldy Heifers. This lot of heifers have never been joined or had access to any bulls. They were Pregnancy Tested Empty on 9th February by Elliot O'Farrell, Millicent Vet Clinic, to ensure buyer confidence, and any Free Martins were removed to ensure they are all sound for breeding. They would suit a restocker looking for heifers to join, or they are also perfectly suited to feed on in a feedlot or for a grass fed program. They are bred out of the renowned Nareen Station cow herd which was originally Hereford based. Top end Weeran and Stoney Point Angus bulls have been purchased and used extensively within the herd over the last 20 years with heavy selection for traits of Birth Weight, 600 day growth, Milk, Fat and EMA. These heifers have very good depth and shape and will grow out to be very big, solid and heavy cows if given the opportunity.
