These Steers were slightly agitated whilst handling in a larger yard just after being brought in from the paddock, once left to settle they handled really well in the race & during the weighing process. Please see attached video as reference for their docility in the paddock once in their natural environment.

CavAg Farm Services of Alexandra are offering a nice line of Vendor Bred Angus Steers that represent the lead draft of surplus animals they initially intended to retain until the later parts of Spring. Like the majority of livestock in Victoria at the moment they present in store to forward store condition with a huge upside available on compensatory growth. There has been a massive emphasis on utilising high end sires from both respective Studs that have exceptional carcass data with a large amount of focus towards 400 & 600 Day Weight EBVs. These animals given the correct circumstances will suit most, if not all backgrounding or fattening operations.
