Assessor Comments
Annual draft of the Cumberoona bred yard weaned Steers 7-8 months bred in the hills of the Eastern Slopes out of volume cows and are noted performers. Offering 200 steers over four lots of 79, 38, 40 and 44 and split by weight off the scales. Steers were a pleasure to handle throughout the entire assessment process and are a credit to their handlers for the time spent and obvious benefits from this diligent process of yard and race training. Steers were yard weaned 5th March for 3 weeks on quality pasture hay and silage and moved on to phalaris/ryegrass pasture end March. Bred from volume females these steers are by Dunoon, Hazeldean & Shacorrahdalu Angus sires and can be supplied with PCAS Grassfed and/or Greenham Never Ever declarations at purchasers request. Note photo's and video's are of all 201 steers being offered for sale.
