Very well handled steers that were a pleasure to weigh and assess. Steers were yard weaned and have been well handled since weaning which reflects on the steers great temperament.

Quality line of Angus feeder steers that were weighed in a tight weight bracket from 395-465kg at assessment. Tops of the drop of the Shore steers that are showing great weight for age. Vendors using Crawford, Dunoon & Bongongo genetics, focusing on 400/600 day growth & Temperament. Any Blue eyes were pulled out at assessment. One steer noted with warts on near side jaw did not deem detrimental in assessors opinion. These steers are just starting to lose their winter coat and with more warmer weather would clean up well, ready power the weight on over the spring given the right opportunity’s. The Shore steers are well sought after by feedlots,bullock finishers & are well known for their doing ability. Steers come highly recommended by agent.
