Generally all the steers in this lot displayed reasonably quiet temperament and were very easy to work/handle in the yard at assessment - It was noted that during weighing/going through the crush there was approximately 5 steers that did become slightly stirry/nervous/agitated when under pressure or isolated - Normal behaviour & not deemed detrimental - All did settle down well when they were let back together in the yard with mob & back out into the paddock

45 Angus Steer Calves - Vendor Bred, Rising approx. 9-10 months - Yard weaned 10/5 (7 days) - ‘The Rock Angus, Patriot & Dunoon’ blood/sires used - Majority of this lot presenting in fresh forward store condition with solid medium to large frame with good confirmation/shape - Majority displaying quiet temperament - Grass Fed/No Antibiotics, a signed PCAS non-certified supplier declaration is available upon buyer request - A well presented line of AA weaned steers that are very suitable to purchase for either a grass or grain fed fattening program or alternatively take out to heavy feeder weights - These steers come highly recommended by the agent as previous drafts have performed well with weight gain/growth - Purchase with confidence, noted doing Angus cattle with sound reputation - NOTE: 2 steers (Orange ear tags) were observed to display some old pink eye scarring in 1 eye only, not deemed detrimental - There is 1 older steer in lot (0T) 446kg full that is rising approx.12 Months
