Well behaved young steers to bring through the yards process, All led up the race easily and most stood quietly on the scales with just the odd one doing a bit of stomping around. All walked out of the scale box calmly and no quicker than the occasional trot. Fed out around the weaning yard and stood very quietly to take photos. Steers that were very good to handle and will only improve with further handling and education.

Annual draft of the Lyon family steers. Usually retained and grown out to bullocks, only offered for sale due a shortage of finishing feed. These are big, long, square, store bodied composite steers on the front foot going forward. Outstanding growth for age, and exceptionally high yielding, these steers carry meat right through them and all the way down to their knees & hocks. These cattle always impress when they step on the scales. Highly recommended cattle that are bound to attract the attention of previous buyers. These steers present a very smart investment opportunity with all the hard work behind them, ready to just tip out in the paddock and continue of a grass job, or start now on a feed ration.
