Assessor Comments
A quality line of Black Angus steers calves, March/April 2022 drop. These are commercial steers out of the Tooperangus Stud, and as such come from top genetics. The sire bulls are from a Te Mania foundation with the Dam side originating from Pinnacle and Team Te Mania bloodlines. They have been yard weaned at the time of assessment, and the connection to their mothers will be broken at the time of delivery. They have been vaccinated twice, but not drenched. The cows were drenched in May 2022, while the calves were still on them. A small tail has been drafted out of the bottom end, to keep the line nice and tidy.
Please note: a number of these steers still showing signs of old ringworm, as well as still carrying their winter coats.
The same vendor will have a second line of steer calves in this same sale, from his second property, which is only 5 kms away. The bloodlines and origins are the same. Put the two lines together and make a b-double.
