Steers were a pleasure to process. They move freely with pressure and were content when pressure was released. Typical of younger weaner steers the odd animal was a bit unsettled over the scales and when pressure was applied in a bigger yard. Well settled when pressure is released - refer video.

Vendor bred middle of the drop Gilmandyke and Scotts Angus blood weaned steers. They are the progeny of a genetically large framed Gilmandyke blood herd with significant investments made for quality genetics. These steers are displaying great weight weight for age, have not had a set back and are presenting in perfect forward store condition. The lead have already been sold at feeder weights and a tail has been removed. Health treatments have been kept up to date. They would be ideal to background having been properly weaned with compensatory weight gains immediate. 100% grass fed and antibiotic free. Top quality steers ideally weighted to hit the positive feeder market quickly on good feed. Alternatively they have the genetics to be taken through to an export kill if required.
