Temperament not assessed in Paddock
The Mopoke cattle are the quietest cattle I assess. Low stress handling is practiced on farm and these heifers behave accordingly. They are routinely run through the yards and their temperament is a feature.

Assessor Comments
An outstanding line of Angus feeder heifers. The total draft is 222 head and is sold over 3 lots as a run out the gate. This lot is for 54 head. These heifers are a mix of the vendors own bred cattle and cattle purchased in the Autumn exclusively from the CTLX Blue Ribbon weaner series. Heifers have been weighed out from 390kg to 500kg at assessment. Presenting in fresh forward condition these heifers are ideal feeders and have been performing well with a current ADG of 1kg. All calves were purchased with the intention to fatten and were PG'd on arrival in March, they have not had a joining or any opportunity to the bull. The temperament of these heifers is a feature, a lot of time and effort has gone into their handling. They are extremely quiet to work with. Please note in addition to the other 2 lots of Feeder heifers in this draft the vendor has another lot of 109 lighter heifers. A great opportunity to put a large run of well-bred Angus heifers.
