Weaners freshly mustered from large flood-out paddock and steadied down very well since weaning week of the 29th . Walked steadily through crush for weighing for second time will continue to improve. In general very good pastoral weaners for quietness. Moved freely between yards and blocked well.

Expect to hold weight for several days after weaning then improve. Steers born and raised on strong feed conditions. 18 Black Baldy types , 32 Straight Blacks , 4 Hereford , 1 red Angus . Returned to: Cattle have been fully yard weaned on the 2nd Dec and will be fed good quality hay in cooler yard until delivery. Have settled down very well.
