Steers handled well while being weighed and assessed - 2hd moved around a little in the crush and exited slightly faster than the rest. The steers moved a bit quicker while being filmed if I made a sudden movement in the bigger yard , but settled well at the end.

A nice run of vendor bred grass fed black baldy weaner steers. Steers are well weaned, well grown for age and ready to grow onto feedlot or kill weights . They are in a tight weight range of - 220kg - 326kg to ave 273kg at assessment. Rennylea, The Glen and Table Top Angus blood with a chance they are by a Wirruna Hereford bull. Vendor normally would carry these through to the spring, but given the ongoing dry conditions has decided to offer them for sale earlier this year. Steers are Teys Grass Lands and Greenham Never Ever accredited as well as JBA Farm Assured. NOTE - the pink eye scars range from an old shadow to a very old spot, not detrimental to them at all, and only in one eye.
Vendor has a further 77 Angus steers - brothers to these in this sale and 45 PTIC Angus and 9 PTIC black baldy cows in the Eastern States sale.
