They are fat score ones though all are fit and healthy. Majority of the steers had very good cover as they are straight off mum. They will hollow out over the next 5 days.

plenty of run in them as they were only weaned yesterday. They are not angry just some of them are a bit fast. Given another week in the yards they will settle right down.

60 Aug/Sep 25 drop Angus steers. They have been running with mum up til monday 3rd Aug, where they were yard weaned then assess on tuesday the 4th. As you can imagine they had a bit of run in them at assessment though all stood on the portable scales without too many issues. They will stay in the yards on water and hay til delivery, so they will hollow out, get muddy and lose their bellow. The herd orginaly started on Banquet cows though others have been purchased in since, and Bulls are sourced from Bushy Park Angus. They will be drenched and vaccinated with 5in1 before delivery.
