These steers were exceptionally well behaved out in the paddock and/or lane way system although a small % became slightly uncomfortable within the cattle yards during assessment. They are broken in with tremendously well trained working dogs and skilled operators which was evident prior to yarding and once again whilst moving them back into a fresh paddock. I believe through further education within a set of cattle yards these animals will be a pleasure to handle 24/7.

Assessor Comments
The Cavill family of Alexandra are offering a tremendous line of their Spring drop weaner steers for genuine sale. They comprise of Anvil & Riddellvue Angus genetics, displaying an exceptional muscle pattern, softness and all round grunt that you would expect in an Angus steer. They are an article that could suit multiple avenues such as a long term bullock fattening operation, feedlot entry or the domestic trade market. Traditionally these animals are sold as yearling steers with high demand from repeat local graziers and feedlot programs, with the season progressing in a positive manor I am certain steers will bounce forward in leaps & bounds given the right circumstances. Please note there are a further 21 lighter steers available via negotiation.
