Assessor Comments
Annual run of BASSANO APR and HBR Angus Heifers. These Hfrs are the second run with about 30 hfrs kept and a small tail and freemartins drafted off. A very even line of well grown heifers after a reasonable spring followed by a dry Summer with an unusually dry Autumn up till now. Impeccably bred hfrs to grow on for breeding (they will grow into lovely medium to large framed soft maternal cows) or feeding for the heavy domestic slaughter job. Have performed very well in the past as they have a ton of breeding and doing abiliity with all hfrs tagged to Sire and Dam.. Weaning, handling , facilities, animal health and breeding are all done to a very high standard. This mob weighed from 252 to 332 5 hours off feed to av278kg at delivery. Heifers being fed Ad lib Silage and Hay in yards for 5 days prior to being let onto dry Autumn pasture with ad lib hay till delivery. All cattle free of Warts, Ringworm and no eye problems. These hfrs can be transferred at PURCHASERS expense if required.
