Temperament is a real feature of these heifers. These cattle are properly handled from the start, yard weaned and use to being moved through race and crush. Whilst taking photos the cattle were comfortable with people walking through them and pushing them around. Exceptionally quiet cattle that are a pleasure to handle.

Assessor Comments
An excellent line of 66 future breeder Angus heifers. The Simpson family have been breeding Angus cattle for many years and are passionate about producing cattle to suit their breeding needs but also perform in the feedlot or grass-fed markets. Bulls are selected annually with the main aim being to improve the genetic makeup of the cow herd. They must be structurally sound, have good temperament and fleshing ability. A high importance is also placed on growth rates, positive fats & milk. Their females are classed annually and must be large frame, deep bodied, feminine cows. This year the tough decision has been made to only keep 15 of 2021 drop heifers presenting you the purchaser with an opportunity to secure a neat 2 decks of Angus females (tail removed) that would usually be retained. They show excellent type, temperament and will mature into outstanding breeders that would be an asset to any breeding program. NB: 5 heifers noted to have a blue eye (pinkeye scar).
