Cattle worked well through the yards and race. The odd steer jumped around on the scales but nothing out of the ordinary. Had a bit of run in the yards but settled down during the handling and assessment.

Lead draft of the Gontawang Hereford Steers off Wantagong Station, Holbrook. An even line of weaner steers that are on a rising plane of nutrition and will continue to make good weight gains for the successful purchaser. There were four steers noticed at assessment with old pink eye scarring but still had sight in the scarred eye. Steers present in store condition and will grow out to ideal future feeders or would be suitable for grass fed bullock programs.
