Assessor Comments
An excellent line of 69 x Sep/ Oct 2024 Drop Poll Hereford Heifers. Bred in the renowned Okeview program at Winderadeen, Collector. The heifers are sired by leading Poll Hereford bulls from Cascade, Bowen and Tycolah. This group of 69 x heifers are 'classed in' heifers, they are only offered as the vendor has decided to reduce joined heifer numbers. The heifers handle very well and are educated cattle, they are in excellent health, currently gaining 1.2kg/ day on pasture. The heifers exhibit great length of body and will mature into large framed, soft easy doing Poll Hereford matrons. These heifers would be suitable for joining to the sire of your choice or back grounding for feedlots or grass finishing. Grass fed and anti-biotic free the heifers are suitable for grass fed finishing programs if desired. A unique opportunity to acquire a line of very well bred heifers in a tight weight range.
