Easily the quietest lot of weaners I’ve ever had the pleasure of assessing. Pushing them out of the way by hand to draft. Very safe, quiet and easy to be in the yards with. Walked up the race calmly, were slightly spooky as they stepped on the shiny scales, then stood perfectly and exited at a walk. Ideal calves for a less experienced hobby farmer, or a mature aged farmer who wants to take on some quiet cattle to grow out to bullocks

Assessor Comments
Very quiet line of young baby bullocks. Excellent example of hybrid vigour, benefiting from the Simmental & Charolais’ high performing traits. Excellent depth, length & width, whilst maintaining softness. Very good bone & plenty of scope to grow out to be big high yielding bullocks. The temperament of these calves is a credit to the vendor. Exceptionally quiet and well handled, easy & sensible to move around the property having been cell grazed on various paddocks throughout harvest, currently on & off a short millet crop. These cattle would easily drop in to a grain-fed program without a setback, already being feed trained & receiving a small daily maintenance ration. Vendor had planned to value add these calves themselves, only offered for sale due to the easing of Covid restrictions and now planning to travel again instead. Please see photos & video for full contentment.
