The Final Stage of the "REDWOOD" Dispersal (Property Sold)
The Redwood Heifers are an Exceptional line of vendor breed future breeders, backed by 33 years of breeding. The background of the herd is Yarram Park Hereford blood, with Barwidgee Angus bulls introduced 20 Years ago and Pathfinder Angus bulls have been introduced into the herd more recently . These large framed long bodied females are prefect for a breeding line and are ready to be joined to the bull of your choice. Alternatively these heifers are perfect for the feeder job. The herd is EU Accredited, These cattle have in the past been Grain feed at Redwood to high carcass weights and very high MSA scores.
The Maylor family apply low stress handling in their herd and this has shown in these heifers as they are very quiet and were a pleasure to deal with. This results in high calving rates over the herd and intervention is rare.
Please note there will be 67 Baldy Heifers off the same vendor in this sale.
