These cattle are excellent to handle both in the paddock and in the yards. They were properly yard weaned for a week back in early February, then handled and fed in smaller holding paddocks, prior to being placed in a rotational grazing system on irrigation whilst also still receiving supplementary hay.

Here is an opportunity to purchase outstanding quality, vendor bred steer calves in big lines and tight weight ranges. The entire drop of the Broadlands Station autumn Black Baldy drop steer calves are for sale, with the tail removed. These steers have an excellent history of performing whether it be in the feedlot or in the paddock; and they have all the genetic potential to grow into very big & heavy export bullocks. They are all sired by specially selected Murdeduke & Pathfinder Angus bulls bred out of large frame Yarram Park bloodline females. They are anti-biotic free and grass fed only. They have been put back out on irrigated pasture and are still doing well. These cattle come highly recommended and they represent a rare opportunity to put a large draft of quality weaner steers together. These are the tops of the BB steers - All these steers were individually weighed 370 kg plus full weight.
