Temperament was a stand out on this line of cattle. Heifers were a pleasure to handle throughout the assessment. Only a handful of these heifers became slightly agitated whilst being put up the race and into the crush, but for a large mob of cattle were overall very quiet.

Assessor Comments
On offer is a very well presented line of NSM Angus heifers that were weighed between 370kg - 488kg to average 411kg LW. Whilst these heifers have not had an opportunity to a bull, the vendors will preg test them empty for buyers' confidence before delivery. Vendor bred portion of heifers are by high indexing Ardrossan Angus bulls and the balance of them are all once removed cattle sourced off Auctionsplus locally or from Southern regions. This line of cattle given their age and weight would be ideal to feed or alternatively would be an excellent group to breed from. Heifers are in tip top condition without being overdone and are starting to hit their straps coming into spring. Successful purchaser will have the opportunity to take 2 extra heifers (see photos) 1 Black Baldy & 1 Red Angus at 30c p/kg less of the purchase price @ their Av curfewed weight of 422kgs.
