Unfortunately there was one particular steer that became quite agitated within the mob which caused an issue with the remaining animals. I personally believe with time & effort it will be possible to alter their attitude to a more quiet approach.

Benbullen Farms formally known as Shrublands Estate of Thornton are offering their spring drop weaners for your competition. Ideal to turn out as back grounding steers to grow into a feedlot spec weight or carry through further into an export weighted carcass. These steers are progeny of a British White bull utilised as a backup post an Artificial Insemination program. With the harsh cold Winter approaching in the Thornton area, it will not permit these animals to perform any further and in my opinion they will bounce forward in leaps and bounds given the right circumstances. Minor pinkeye scarring observed during assessment which is not detrimental in my opinion.
Vendor is also offering a small selection of Angus steers & heifers in this same sale.
Please also note that there is a monthly store sale being held at Yea on the same day which may encourage further purchases to make it more attractive for trucking purposes.
