Assessor Comments
Offering 80 head Angus X Angus feeder steers. 100% antibiotic free and grass fed only and weighed 440-528kg at assessment. These steers have performed well after arriving in autumn and have maintained a continuous growth rate since. They are currently gaining in excess of 1.5kg/hd/day over their last couple of weighs and with fresh pastures until delivery they will continue to gain weight. Presenting even as a line these steers stand on a decent frame and are really starting to shine. They have good fat coverage and are not overdone. They have been rotationally grazing improved pastures in a larger mob and were a pleasure to handle during and following assessment. Ideal feeder steers to fatten for positive forward options, backed with the enthusiasm and general interest within the beef industry for now and its projections.
