Assessor Comments
A neat line of vendor bred one mark Angus steers. Steers are by Bongongo & Spring Hill Angus bulls and out of Bongongo & Lawson blood Angus cows. Steers were yard weaned with silage and were bunk fed pellets and hay for 6 weeks in the paddock after weaning before going onto crop. The steers have had everything thrown at them including two 7 in 1s, B12 as well as a Multimin Evolution and are now grazing oats progressing along well. Steers that have had all the hard work done and are now ready to take on to background onto heavy feeders or continue on with to domestic or export kill weights. Please Note 2 steers have pink eye scarring in one eye not considered detrimental (please refer to photos). 31 steers present with some mild ringworm around their head and eyes that is clearing quickly with a change in the season and as the temperature improves(please refer to photos).
