These Heifers were easy to work through the yards. One or Two Heifers got slightly agitated on the scales but once out they settled down nicely. Driving around the Heifers in the paddock they were very quiet and calm as can be seen in the video.

This is a very nice line of Angus Heifers that Excel Farms are offering. Their is 182 in total that will be offered as two lots of 91 as a run out the gate but if someone was looking for a large line of Heifers to join here they are. These Heifers were purchased out of the Blue Ribbon Weaner Sale in Hamilton in January from noted Western District Herds plus a line off A+ from "Ferneux" as well. These Heifers are exceptionally well bred and sires would be from noted local Western District Studs such as Banquet, Pathfinder, Weeran, Coolana and Stony Point. They are in ideal condition to put a Bull with straight away or grow on for a Grass Fed job or to Feedlot. Whilst weighing we randomly mouthed some Heifers and they still had their milk teeth. Note that 3 Heifers have old Pink Eye Scarring which I believe is not detrimental to the animal. Also their were 3 Heifers with some white forward of the udder. Once again note that their is another line of 91 Angus Heifers offered in this sale.
