The Mopoke cattle are the quietest cattle I assess. Low stress handling is practiced on farm and these heifers behave accordingly. They are routinely run through the yards and their temperament is a feature.

Assessor Comments
An outstanding line of 94 backgrounder heifers. These heifers are a mix of the vendors own bred cattle and cattle purchased in the Autumn exclusively from the CTLX Blue Ribbon weaner series. Heifers have been weighed out from 302kg to 400kg at assessment. Presenting in fresh forward condition these heifers stand on plenty of frame and have been performing well with a current ADG of 1kg across the mob. All calves were purchased with the intention to fatten and were PG'd on arrival in March, they have not had a joining or any opportunity to the bull. The temperament of these heifers is a feature. A lot of time and effort has gone into their handling, they are extremely quiet to work with. Please note the vendor has another 2 lots of heifers offered in the same sale.
