Well handled and well mannered steers. Supplementary feeding as weaners has been very beneficial and is credited for how easy to handle these weaners are to handle. Very odd steer was unsettled over the scales but settled immediately afterwards.

Assessor Comments
91 Angus x Angus, 2 Angus x Angus/Hereford and 1 Angus x Hereford steer to total 94 head. Backgrounder steers that are acclimatised to the SW Victoria and really on the do due to favourable spring conditions. Purchased in late June - early July as part of vendor’s evolving program. Being offered for sale to make room for other mouths. These steers have performed very well as a group since purchasing. They are a pleasure to handle and are very comfortable with human interaction and were pleasant through the assessment process. 100% antibiotic free and grass fed only. 100% weighed to range from 256-456kg full and the majority were from 300-400kg. A small tail was removed at assessment. They are not overdone and carry light fat cover offering compensatory weight gains with increased nutrition. A quality line of Angus steers that are suited to a range of programs.
