Weaners were very easy to handle & well behaved in the yards with the Mothers still around. Once the mothers were taken away they became a little bit lost, getting themselves stuck in corners and things of the like. Despite this, they remained sensible and quiet to handle in the yards and crush, a few that were slightly more anxious than others, listed above as slightly stirry. But otherwise all very quiet & with weaning, will only improve their education and understanding of what is required.

Soft, shapey calves that have been well looked after and given the best start possible in life. All fresh & shiny with a good heavy skin hanging off them, and a soft, easy doing style that screams yield. Out of high yielding style Red cows, consisting of Ex stud Red Angus, Red Angus x Herefords, Simmental x Herefords & a few straight Herefords, By The Rock Angus Bull. These fresh steers have appreciated the benefits of the hybrid vigour and would be a very nice lot to grow out to Export weights.
