Pastoral bred yearlings have been well handled and used to rotating through paddocks. Easy to muster and yarded down laneway for assessment. Cattle trotted through yards as used to race drafting. Stood in holding paddock for photo's, good to block, best suited to open range paddocks. Moved Freely back into paddocks. Have assessed as Stirry and Slightly stirry but stock good to handle and work but need to be given space when working.

114 Pastoral Bred weaners/yearlings, Bos influence with good cross of Charbray to be classed as flatbacks. 62 steers avg 243 kg full and 52 heifers avg 215 kg full. Stock took a while to acclimatise to southern hills conditions now ready to put away on a northern feed-on operation. Yellow tags marked mid late 2021 with Purple tags mixture late 2020 and 2021. 33 of 41 purple tags mouthed 7 milk balance 2 teeth. Mixture of colours associated with northern crossbreeding program. Note have taken separate photo's of heifers and steers in lots paddocked separately. Have the frame to move forward.
