A line of 27 friesian steer calves that have had a quality start being reared on Vitafarm fortified milk powder and weaned onto cereal hay and grain mix. The steers have been vaccinated with piliguard, and both their injections of 7 in 1 and were backlined with Demise and Eprinex. These calves are displaying plenty of bone and frame would grow out into big heavy bullocks. The steers are from two 400 cow herds of large frame friesian cows backed by over 60 years of AI breeding. All the steers bar one have been have been gas dehorned. So all the work has been done for you- just show them the feed and watch them grow.
Note: A Small % of steers have a small amount of pinkeye scarring.
