The heifers were good to handle through the yards, They had been through the race, preg tested and redrafted prior to assessment but were still easy to put through yards and race again.

These EU accredited Angus heifers are the Mansfield draft of the TRT Pastoral PT empty heifers. There are 240 similar heifers ex TRT King Island in this sale today. They are vendor bred by Temania bulls out of TRT cows which are predominantly pure Temania blood. They are run in a rotational grazing system and are used to regular movement and handling. These heifers can be purchased with confidence and would be ideal to join in May June for an autumn 2023 calving. A tail has been removed at assessment. An odd heifer presented with old pink eye scarring which is not considered detrimental to their future performance. One heifer was noticed to have a slight whitish mark on a rear leg. Delivery can be coordinated with King Island heifers if helpful for trucking.
