Assessor Comments
Annual turn off of the steer weaners from Tuxworth Pastoral Co. Usually held till the Blue Ribbon sale at CTLX the season dictates that are offered for sale now. This is the draft of natural calves out of the program from last year with these by sires from Yamba and Karoo angus. These calves have been weaned since mid December due to the season and are still showing some good weight for age considering how the season has gone, they are ready to explode and would expect a huge compensation in growth once on some fresh feed or winter crop. You are buying calves that are bred to perform and have a good reputation out of the blue ribbon sales. Please note the other line of calves are from the AI joining and will be slightly older.
