These steers have had ample human interaction. They were reactive to pressure and were easy to move. There was a portion unsettled on the scales but they were settled for videoing in a larger yard with the pressure released.

Weaned Angus x Angus steers. Presenting in forward store condition these steers offer immediate compensatory weight gains with a change in diet. They would normally be carried into the winter and are only being sold due to seasonal conditions. They were locked up in containment and were released approx 4 weeks ago. Towards the end there was an outbreak of pinkeye and they were regularly treated and are healing well - refer photos of worst affected. They have been rotationally grazing spelled paddocks that are offering a bit of nutrition and are visually moving forward. Ideal steers to put away on grass or even on feed for the very promising future cattle market.
