Assessor Comments
A good line of very well bred Angus & Black Baldy Heifers that would make excellent future breeders, given the chance. They are an even line of ideal backgrounder weight heifers which have cleaned up well in the coat, & are presenting as shiny as black snakes. These lovely quiet heifers are very forward in condition, with shape & softness in abundance, & would be ideal heifers to tuck away for a Winter joining to compliment any breeding operation or alternatively continue on unjoined, to feeder weights at the back end of Winter/early Spring. These young heifers are well balanced, exhibiting very good body length & depth, & possessing the breeding potential to develop into large-framed future breeders, along with the shape & softness to suit feedlotters or finishers alike. Heifers are very quiet & well handled, & would suit the most discerning buyer looking for top quality Angus females with placid temperaments. A regretful sale of replacement breeders to conserve feed for core breeders.

Difficult decision to sell these replacement breeder heifers, particularly at this age, however, we are prioritising conserving feed for core breeders & attaining feeder weights in the steer portion throughout Autumn and moving forward into Winter.
