Karana is a very well known herd in the South East of SA. Known for breeding early maturing Angus cattle with bone, softness & trueness to type, these 80 EU accredited steers are no different. As described, if you have a front paddock, you'll want these in the very front half of that paddock.
They're even in type, carry wonderful soft skins, display bone, length & depth of body, shape & an even fat covering. Fresh store condition & up to date with their health treatments, this line of steers are primed to either go forward on grain or grass.
The owners have spared nothing on the purchase of replacement Pathfinder sires for their program. Targeting doing ability and an even spread of 200-600 day figures, the Karana cattle thrive from birth to processing.
Individually weighed at assessment, 79 steers are evenly spread between 366kg & 473kg full weight. 1 steer only topped above that at 506kg full weight.
I have no problems recommending these steers to you. Some of the very best in SA.
