The Heifer calves were a little unsettled when they came into the yards. Blustery, thunderstorm conditions seemed to upset them somewhat. ( The Angus and Charolais Steers had been yarded earlier in the morning and were quite calm in comparison to the Heifer ). They settled down somewhat as we worked through the mob but some remained agitated.

The Middle draft of the Narweena Station Charolais X Heifer Calves weighed off at 320 - 369 Kg. Not sure where else you would find an even B-Dble load of One Mark Euro X Heifers of this quality. Square bodied with shape and thickness. Repeat Buyers know how they perform and I can't see the calves this year being any different. The Cow herd is now almost straight Angus and these calves are becoming more uniform in type, year on year.
