The annual draft of the McGahy Pastoral calves. These calves were yard weaned and have been on silage and improved pasture for six weeks. They have continued to go forward the whole time. The calves handled very well throughout the assessment and the temperament of them is a credit to the way the McGahy family handle their stock. There is no expense spared on the bulls which are selected for ease of calving and growth and this shows through in the weight for age of these steers. With the frame and weight on their side, they would be ideal to background for a bullock producer or are ready to enter a feedlot now. A small tail has been removed from this line of steers. The steers have a simmental infusion but are all black in colour with some white underneath. Please note the vendor has a second draft in this sale as well as a line of 29 future breeder heifers.
