Nice even draft of the Dean family weaners that are now well settled after weaning in November. Steers display all the hallmark Poll Hereford characteristics, well marked, good bone and extremely quiet to handle, sires inc Tarcome, Ravensdale & Strath Valley. Local fatteners have had great success finishing these steers as heavy slaughter bodies off grass. At weaning steers were fed grain free pellets and up until 2 weeks ago rolled wheat. 2 other lots in sale.
