The Winnidad cattle are generally good to handle for a relatively large herd. Steers were assessed as soon as they entered the yards from long walk from paddock so were a little worked up to start. However photographing etc was not an issue and the cattle are almost always good to handle.

A quality draft of vendor bred, heavy feeder Angus steers bred for performance. Sired by Weeran & Chiltern Park Angus bulls, bred from a herd of Banquet, Barwidgee & Weeran blood cows, the Winnidad operation selects genetics on structure, above average growth and carcase attributes of above 2.0 for IMF and positive fat. Feedback from previous purchasers has been favourable and there’s no doubt these cattle will go on and perform. Presenting in healthy, fresh store to forward store condition. With vendor offering a further 74 head lighter weighted steers this sale, it presents a terrific opportunity to acquire over 100 quality, performance bred Angus steers that will perform in the feedlot or on grass.
