Assessor Comments
A very well bred line of Angus/Shorthorn steers, being March/April 2023 drop. These steers are EU accredited and have been weaned since mid November. They have an average curfewed weight of 293 kg, with a range of 256 kg to 353 kg, and are generally fat score 2's. A small number of these steers are showing some signs of old ringworm, which has dried up. One steer has a very small white dot in one eye. There are 4 roans in the mob, and a small number with white underbellies, both being typical characteristics of the angus/shorthorn x. The Wild Dog Creek group always source top end bulls, with a very big focus on continual herd improvement and temperament being a priority. Seven Bugle Range Farm steers were weaned into this mob. Please note; Wild Dog Creek/Bugle Range Farm consortium will be offering a number of lines of weaners in this sale. Both properties are owned by the same family group, using the same bloodlines and genetics.
