Assessor Comments
A very well bred line of Shorthorn steers, being March/April 2023 drop. These steers are EU accredited and have been weaned since mid November. This is the second draft of Shorthorn steers, with a line of heavyweights in the same sale. They will present as good medium frames, in mainly fat score 2 condition. Approximately 10% of these steers are showing some signs of old ringworm, with the very odd steer still sporting a woolly coat. One steer has small horns, and three steers are White Shorthorns. The Wild Dog Creek group always source top end bulls, with a very big focus on continual herd improvement and temperament being a priority. Please note; Wild Dog Creek/Bugle Range Farm consortium will be offering a number of lines of weaners in this sale. Both properties are owned by the same family group, using the same bloodlines and genetics.
