78 August & September drop Hereford steers averaging 247 kg at assessment. Steers are currently being yard weaned and on silage. Bred out of highly sought-after Mountain region Hereford cows Newcomen bloodlines. Having been yard weaned and handled regularly these cattle are quiet and well natured, and should continue to grow once on purchasers property.
At assessment it was noted that 2 steers were just starting to show signs of pink eye, and subsequently treated with Opticlox, see last photo.
PLEASE NOTE caves were weaned at assesment and are currently yard weaned on silage.
