Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Steer was deemed to be stirry when handling in yards. Did not appreciate being yarded on his own. Constant movement, steer did approach people in yard and bluff and was constantly pacing fence. Would be hard to recommend to purchasers who do not have experience in handling cattle. Please take into account when operating to buy.

Assessor Comments
Highland steer in store condition. Steer shows all attributes of the breed, is Russllyn Highland blood with vendor having bred Highland cattle for around 10 years. Please note he was brindle in colour with black Highalnd in his lineage. He was stirred up when assessing and photographing. True to type and would suit the experienced cattle breeder/handler targeting a specific market or looking for something different look at in their paddock. (Vendor offers further drafts of a five heifers (same drop), 2 steers (2022 drop) and a heifer (2022) drop this sale)
