Steers were very calm and stress free through the mustering process and being bought into the yards. When in the paddock they were very content and quiet. In the yards with some pressure applied, steers reacted with some flight but nothing aggressive. Similar behaviour when in race and crush. Nothing untoward and settled quickly when back with the mob. Overall they are well handled cattle.

On offer is a small quality line of Angus steers that are showing good length of body and confirmation. Steers originally purchased Ex Southern Weaner sales. They have shown good weight gains and growth since put on current agistment block at Marrar and are at an ideal time of maturity (14-15 months old) to stack on the kilos given the right opportunity. Steers have up to date health treatments, have previously been treated with 2 shots of Bovilis and represent plenty of value for a trading perspective given their weights and good quality. Cattle showed good temperament and would be ideal to put out on excess feed and grow out to desired market weights.
