Very quiet young heifers to handle. A bit confused in the yards at times, getting stuck in corners, only as a result of having their bellowing mothers on the other side of the fence. Once they realised the pressure from the handlers, they moved off easily, all led up the race very well, just a few (3) heifers showing some anxiety on the shiny aluminium scales and doing a bit of jumping about. Very quiet, well handled heifers that will only improved with weaning.

Very nice little line of young, fresh heifers to take on, showing good growth for age, averaging 250kg while having only ever known dry/droughty conditions in their short 6/7 month life. Heifers that have been superbly managed, never seeing a hard day, and are backed by breeding. With some green feed coming through now the timing is perfect & these calves will just keep going forward upon weaning. Out of large/very large framed cows, these heifers give the buyers the option to either background or put a bull over them. Buyers please note. These heifers were weaned at assessment, please consider this in your adjustments.
