100 Watervalley Black Angus steers, Ex Mt Scott 240-300 kg weight range, 268.5kg LW Curfewed Ave. offered in 4 lots from 400 steers in the line. These steers are are a genuine run of backgrounders in store condition coming through a dry autumn and winter fed on green pick and hay and are now really starting to go forward presenting in quite fresh condition, ideal to grown into feeder weights. They offer a good medium frame with good bone density being true to Angus type. Off types and rougher animals drafted out at assessment. They steers are all 2023 drops. They are well known for their doing ability and will perform well for those buyers looking for improver cattle to add value to their purchases.

We are very proud of Donor Jean P303 – the mother ship. Jean B21’s progeny directly shows the power and consistency of our cow lines here with 9 lots represented. P303 has been a very successful donor for us and is a prolific egg producer, averaging over nine eggs per flush conventional. Her eleven sons that have gone through the sale have consistently featured in our top pens. P303 is the most impressive cow in the flesh showing phenomenal capacity, consistent with Premier Guardian and the renowned Premier Jestress H66 cow in her paternal pedigree. Her eggs raised $5050 each by Rob and Tania Jarret in 2022 at the Molong Flood Charity Auction and we raised over $20,000 for flood victims in all. Her current bull calf by Rambo is an absolute ripper. Her maternal aunt is Lot 4, with both her and P303’s dam out of G117, sister to D71 who is the dam of H215.
