238 VGQ No.4 HGP FREE Droughtmaster steers. These steers will be sold in 1x 3 (102hd) decks and 1x 4 (136hd) decks with a run out the gate draft. After being in the yards overnight at assessment the steers weighed into a tight weight range of 266-380kg to ave. 312kg The steers have good bone, frame and weight for age and will grow onto be heavy feeders or grass fed bullocks with ease. These steers handled very well through the race and crush while being weighed and assessed, there is the odd steer with a bit of weaner horn visible, however mostly polled or well dehorned. 1 steers noted with scaring on near side, not detrimental (see photos). Cattle are located in a tick area, vendor will guarantee cattle clear the dip.
