Steers were good to handle in the yards, they worked well through the yards and crush. There were no signs of aggression from any of the steers although the odd one stirred up when put under pressure or was separated from his mates. Steers were good to handle and inspect in the paddock prior to assessment in the yards.

A good even line of backgrounder steers suitable for feedlot backgrounders. These steers have a good reputation for doing well, previous buyers have carried them through to bullocks if desired. They were bred in the Mt Isa district and purchased June 2025 for Muttaburra. There weight gains have been very pleasing coming out winter and steers are ready to leap ahead.
