Cattle flowed well through the yards when being drafted, please note these cattle are not use to being drafted through a pound and a percentage became slightly agitated while this was happening, however they settled quickly once pressure was released. When being put back through to be weighed and assessed they flowed extremely well and were a pleasure to handle through the race and crush. Please note the very small percentage of steers that became agitated in the crush quickly once let go.

Buyers, here is your chance to secure a line of good quality store heifers with all the hard work done. Only selling due to dry seasonal conditions these heifers would have usually been kept through to heavy feeders. They present in ideal buying condition and are ready to power ahead once given the opportunity on good feed. They show good length, bone and frame and will be suited to the market of your choice. These heifers are usually sent to backgrounder country at Bauhinia and are sold as heavy feeder heifers to repeat buyers. They have a live weight range of 222kg to 347kg and have an average weight of 275kg at assessment. They have been pretreated to assist potential purchasers in tick free country, however, please note it will be the purchasers responsibility to insure all cattle tick regulations are followed.
